Taken from a pastel drawing by ceramic artist Kyra Cane of a rural scene on Welbeck estate, this lightweight fabric depicts a landscape as it unfolds revealing woodland and fields. This charming print cleverly maintains the loose pastel strokes that are layered to create blends of colour and texture from the original sketch. Welbeck fabric encapsulates the dynamism of the artist’s pastels mapping out the landscape and reflecting the varying pressure applied to the paper. The Welbeck design is printed on a softly translucent sheer that has a subtle slub and a fluid drape.
